In this work, the application of the feedback formulation to study several objects that have been attached to form a bigger scatterer is presented. With this technique, a large obstacle can be segmented in several ones and the scattered field can be computed as the result of the multiple interactions among these parts. Scattering of dielectric cylinders using feedback formulation and segmentation

The feedback formulation, which uses graphs to model multiple interactions between objects and sums of cylindrical modes to express electromagnetic fields, is used to study several objects that have been attached to form a larger scatterer. Thus, large scatterers can be segmented into smaller ones, and the modal expressions for the fields reduce the dimensions of the matrix involved in the problem. In this document the Cat-COVITE Application for use in the CATNETS Project is introduced and motivated. Furthermore an introduction to the catallactic middleware and Web Services Agreement (WS-Agreement) concepts is given as a basis for the future work. Requirements for the application of Cat-COVITE with in catallactic systems are analysed. Finally the integration of the Cat-COVITE application and the catallactic middleware is described. --Grid Computing

This document first gives an introduction to Application Layer Networks and subsequently presents the catallactic resource allocation model and its integration into the middleware architecture of the developed prototype. Furthermore use cases for employed service models in such scenarios are presented as general application scenarios as well as two very detailed cases: Query services and Data Mining services. This work concludes by describing the middleware implementation and evaluation as well as future work in this area. --Grid Computing

In this paper a performance measuring infrastructure,developed for the prototype and simulator, concering the experiment configuration, data measurement, and data collection, is presented. A corresponding performance evaluation framework is defined to obtain the metrics from the measured data. Functional specification of a gateway of KEYMAN functionalities into X.500 Directory services

Currently there are several implementations and experimental pilots services of Certification Authorities based on the X.500 implementations available in Europe, like OSISEC, distributed by UCL, SecuDE, distributed by GMD, and SESAME, distributed by the SESAME partners (GMD, ICL, Siemens/SSE). The first two rely on ISODE directory (QUIPU), distributed by the ISODE Consortium, but could interwork with other X.500 implementations using strong authentication like Torquemada, distributed by INRIA. They are used in Electronic Mail and X.509 certificates management. The SESAME certification infraestructure is used with X.400 mail and with the SESAME GSS-API implementation.
